Orders, Delivery & Returns

1. General

Welcome to MGist. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the policies below.

All content on this website, including images, product descriptions, graphics, logos, and text, belongs to MGist and may not be copied or reused without permission.

2. Placing an Order

Orders can be placed directly on our website. Once your order is successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation.

Please make sure your name, phone number, delivery address, and order details are correct before completing payment. MGist is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect customer information.

Orders are processed only after payment has been confirmed, unless otherwise stated.

3. Product Availability

All products listed on our website are subject to availability.

Because we sell physical stock, some items may sell out quickly. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer one of the following:

  • a replacement item of similar value
  • store credit
  • a refund

Please note that product colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and screen display.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN), unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to update prices, discounts, and promotions at any time without prior notice. The price charged will be the price shown at checkout when your order is placed.

5. Order Processing

Orders are usually processed within 1 to 2 business days after payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day.

If there is any delay with your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver within Nigeria.

Estimated delivery timelines:

  • Kano: 1 to 3 business days
  • Outside Kano: 2 to 7 business days, depending on location and logistics partner

Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, weather conditions, courier delays, or issues outside our control.

7. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and will be shown at checkout or confirmed before dispatch.

Customers are responsible for making sure someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address provided.

8. Failed Delivery Attempts

If a delivery fails because:

  • the address provided is incorrect
  • the phone number is unreachable
  • no one is available to receive the package

the customer may be required to pay any additional redelivery cost.

9. Order Confirmation and Tracking

Once your order is shipped, we may send you a dispatch update and delivery details where available.

If your order is delayed beyond the expected timeline, please contact us with your order number so we can assist you.

10. Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We accept return or exchange requests only under the conditions below.

Eligible reasons for return or exchange

We may accept a return or exchange if:

  • you received the wrong item
  • you received a damaged item
  • you received an item with a clear defect

Conditions

To qualify:

  • you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item
  • the item must be unused and in its original condition
  • all original packaging, tags, and accessories must still be attached where applicable
  • you must provide clear photos or videos of the issue

11. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • sale or discounted items
  • items damaged after delivery due to misuse or improper handling
  • items that have been used, worn, stained, altered, or damaged by the customer
  • change-of-mind purchases, except where we choose to approve it at our discretion

12. Refunds

Refunds are only issued if:

  • we confirm that the item delivered was wrong, damaged, or defective
  • and we are unable to provide a replacement or exchange

If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the situation.

Refund processing time may vary depending on your payment provider.

13. Exchanges on Existing Orders

If you wish to change your order after payment, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may approve order changes only if the item has not yet been processed or dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, changes may no longer be possible.

14. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • providing correct delivery information
  • reviewing product details before purchase
  • checking size, color, and style carefully before ordering
  • responding promptly if we contact you about your order

15. Limitation of Liability

MGist is not responsible for:

  • courier delays outside our control
  • failed delivery due to incorrect address or phone number
  • minor color differences caused by lighting or screen display
  • loss or damage caused after successful delivery
